It's not easy to get a credit card in Nigeria for use for online transactions but you could easily get one for local transactions thanks to Nigerian banks now pioneered by Ecobank which also has naira denominated credit cards now. Most credit cards offered by Nigerian banks are mainly not accepted by online traders on the internet because it carrries a Nigerian billing address which is mostly considered to be fraudulent. However you could use the credit card from these Nigerian banks which are branded by Visa or Mastercard to withdraw cash from ATMs in Nigeria and abroad. You could also get credit cards from retailers in Nigeria to be used for internet transactions since you could get a US billing address attached to this easily. Some of the vendors which offer these cards include naira2u.com, gtn-ng.com. graphcard.com, e.t.c. When you get your credit card, a fee is charged on you for getting it which is the premium above the dollar equivalent of the card you want and it takes not up to a week before it's yours.
Now with the advent of credit cards in Nigeria, one could easily transact business anywhere without physical cash and even in cyberspace.
