He has lost his grip on Cross rivers politics after the tribunal ruled that a reelection should be done. Now, Imoke is troubled and would not want to be removed from office by a less popular candidate. Maybe he didn't take his opponents serious when they took the case to the tribunal only to find out that he lost. I think he now hopes to win at the appeal court else it would be bad for his first time as governor of his state.
