This current 5th season of the Big Brother Africa show is called Big Brother Africa all stars and it makes use of former housemates of big brother shows. It works on both DSTV decoders and Mobile DSTV.
If you already have the Nokia 5330 phone or other Nokia phone activated for Mobile DSTV but you are still having problems getting BBA channel to show you live tv, then maybe these tips of mine could help you watch them on the go.
I also had the same problem because I already had mobile dstv when I bought the package from MTN and it included 10 channels. That was before the SA 2010 WORLD CUP and when the games ended and Big Brother All stars began, I rescanned my channels and got the BBA channel but it was not showing. It initially requested that I put in a parental control code to be able to view it so in the settings I set it to 18 and then included the default code which is 12345 for Nokia phones but it was still not showing.
So following a tip I got from site visitors, I had to do the following:

How I activated BBA5 all stars
- I went to mobile tv
- Then deleted all the current channels
- The phone automatically searches for new channels
- It tells me that I need to purchase these channels and I used the options-->Subscriptions button and clicked on purchase
- It shows packages to subscribe to and I selected the DSTV mobile that had a cost of 0.00
- It took me back to the channel and reports that a request has been sent to the server and I will be informed when the subscriptions keys are available
- In about a minute, subscriptions keys become available and I change channels and big brother starts showing. All other channels are showing as well

What you will need
- At least 100 naira credit in your phone
- A mobile tv capable phone
- An MTN sim card
- Mobile internet access

    Hey!!... I just Activated mine, I want to my settings and set the parental control to 18 and it works...I'm watching the Bigbrother Africa on my Dstv mobile.

    i just activated mine and it works but is it going to last for only 31 days?i was informed at mtn that i would start subscribing next year .

    No it is going to last for a year. That is just to remind you that in future, if mtn decides to start charging, you will be able to subscribe to it monthly but for now, it's a continous subscription till 2011

    You will need to ensure that you have the following things on your phone:
    - A live tv link
    - At least a 128k mtn sim card

    If you have all that, then go to your mobile tv and search for subscriptions, if available purchase them and you can start watching mobile tv after a few moments
