Shoprite Nigeria is a shopping mall company that has a growing number of outlets in Nigeria. Nowadays more and more people find it easy to do most of their shopping(mostly weekend) at the shopping mall. Shoprite is like a big supermarket similar to the one we had in the 90s called Leventis shopping mall.Locations
For now, I know of their shopping malls situated around Lagos in places below:Palms shopping mall Lekki
Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping mall Surulere
Ikeja ciy shopping mall IkejaThey do have plans to open up in many other cities across Nigeria such as Ilorin, Enugu and Abuja.Shoprite has a lot of shopping malls spread across Africa and has a growing number of customers in Nigeria. There's hardly any household consumer product that you wouldn't at least find in shoprite and mostly at a good price. Although I'd say that some things can be over-priced but overall, they do tend to offer one of the lowest prices for a provision store. Some Things you can buy at shoprite Nigeria
You can buy many consumer products at shoprite such as the following:- Detergents
- Light bulbs

I've been to the shopping mall at the Palms Ikeja and the Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping mall. The one at the palms really was a very large complex as it had a larger car park and lots of big stores. The one at Adeniran Ogunsanya seems to have a much smaller but horizontal parking space which seems to still be under construction and has some traffic on busy days.Best days of avoiding traffic at Shoprite
Mondays to Thursdays are cool but there can be more people and car traffic on weekends. So avoid weekends like Saturdays and Sundays since most people would be doing shopping then and there could be more traffic from parking in to checking out. However, if you don't mind being with the crowd or bumping into old friends, you should try the weekend shopping. How to shop at Shoprite
If you intend doing some shopping at shoprite, then you should enter but you are not allowed to go in with your bag as you have to drop it in your car or at the bag room and get a card.
Then pick up a shopping basket for light shopping or add a trolley if doing some heavy shopping. You can move from line to line depending on the category of items you can to buy and then load them to your cart. Prices are fixed on every item so you know what you are paying for.
When you are done shopping and ready to checkout, then go to the counter and present your car. Make payment with cash or Card, collect your receipt and go with your items. Present your receipt at the door if required and then you are done shopping.
