    GHANA MUST GO
The Ghana-must-go era has become a slam on every Nigerian faces like we don't want to talk about it, now that one cedi exchanges for N40, it tells that we the nigerians were campaigners of a prophesy that was charged for the actualization of a dream called nigerians-running-to-Ghana. it pains me to accept what nigeria rulers have done to this dream once held by the likes of Awolowo, Ambrose Ali, Zik, Jakunde,Ahmadu Bello, Tafabalewa and Idiagbo and all others who led btw 1960 to 1970 . from Babagida to Jonathan, where is the dream once known as NIGERIA? Jonathan! what will be your legacy, Like others, just come and go? veto power achieves all, and as far as God has called you. Go to the God that begot Christ Jesus and ask him why did He give you this veto power. Life is sweet but the wrath of God spares no one who could not account for it.

I served in Yobe State with General Hospital, Buni Yadi under the Medical Records Department. I was originally posted to a school to teach but ended up serving in the above mentioned Hospital with the approval of my Local Government Inspector (LGI) And also took necessary steps to ensure the necessary change is implemented but at the end of my service year i was paid my State allowance based on the secondary school scheme which took over a hundred thousand naira of my money. I went to the NYSC federal secretariate to complain presenting them an application and everyother necessary document as a back-up. We (i.e. i and those with similar issues) was told by the state coordinator that it will be sorted out. i was one of the Batch B 2010... till date i have not been paid for no tangible reason. What is our government doing to Nigerian Youths? This is a fund that would have aided me to start up something small to keep me off the street but it was witheld from me. Nigerians please answer me is this fair? is this the way forward?

I wish to call the attention of Ogun State Governor to his decision about TA SUES that he should call lovers of education to a round table dialogue. His action seem to be sentiment because of what he did about Subomi Hospital too.

Do you know you are billed ( electricity, waste, tax etc) and you dont even get the service you paid for. just see PHCN bringing bills without checking the meter reading, the just print any amount they want and send; waste management sends bill without even coming to pick the waste; for tax you pay tax for social infrastructure and maintanance but you get none. what is happenning, we are now slave in our country. EFCC should start their work and they Govnt should give them their our court to run . thank you.Don

Given the present quagmire on the removal of subsidy on PMS, and the protests across the entire country, our leaders should lead by example! it is well known to all that they spend next to nothing of the huge amounts they get as remuneration as government officials. At least THEY DON'T BUY PMS WITH THEIR EARNINGS. If they must help the masses, let them All take a pay cut!! This would help reduce government spending, create more money to be added to that made available by the subsidy removal, and to quicken the fruition of the promises of the benefits of the subsidy removal. Above all it will be sound proof of the genuineness of their intention to help the masses!

Sir, APPEAL TO JAMB REGISTRAR, PROF OJERINDE TO TEMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY On behalf of the Parent Forum of Nigeria, we hereby appeal to the substantive JAMB Registrar, Prof Dibu Ojerinde regarding the conduct of 2011/2012 UTME to release the outstanding 2011 UTME results and add back the deducted marks from candidates’ results in all UTME subjects in Yaba, Bariga, Ebute-Metta, Agege, Mushin, and Lagos Island of Lagos state to mention but few. It is on record that you, the Registrar, affirmed that UTME was largely free of Examination malpractices this year with introduction of biometric finger-print verification into system of UTME at centres, not excluding Lagos state (the centre of excellence). We can’t agree any better with you going by prima-facie evidence on ground that day and this is indeed commendable. This assertion of the Registrar, however, runs counter to existing situation where candidates are marked down by as much as 50% in I all UTME subjects in almost all the aforementioned Examination Towns. The abysmal results (mainly in the range of 150 and 190 marks) of top-flight students prompted some study centres to assess answer-marked question papers of the candidates using the solution of Teachers who major in the subjects. The outcome was quite revealing. For instance, one of these foremost students (who has cleared their SSSCE papers in A’s) got 43 questions right out of 50 questions in Mathematics but JAMB scored him 41% in the same Exam. In English, he had 88 questions correct but JAMB scored him 38%. The outcome is not particularly different in other subjects. The story is the same in all the centres in the aforesaid Examination centres. We strongly believe that even where JAMB is penalizing for guess work, that cannot account for such colossal variance. With this current situation, parents are beginning to have impression that JAMB seems to be assigning scores using whatever indices. It is only fair before man and God that these deducted scores be added back and the withheld results promptly released. Lastly, we want to advise JAMB to get done with all necessary screening before going to press to announce the release of result, even if this has to take some two weeks after the Exam. That way, it will depict thoroughness and JAMB, the Registrar, and the system will earn themselves almost as much credibility as that of Prof Atahiru Jega and his INEC. Thank you.
