Working on a job or providing jobs, which is more profitable, psychologically, financially and socially? Which is more rewarding? Which is easier? It's a nice thing to have something that you are good at and that you do, even employing others to work for you. it prevents bureaucracy and speeds up decision making. i know a lot of people want to own their own business but they do not have capital. Some who even have capital, but may not have the confidence that it will work. However employees also have an advantage as the burden of decision making and responsibility may not rest on them that much since they only do what they are assigned to do and expect their salaries at month end. They work in big blue chip firms, go for social outings, wear corporate clothes and mix with other knowledgeable and resourceful colleagues. How easy their life is, you may say. But if you are asked, to be an employee or to have a small stuff you call your business, which would you prefer?
