i'D LIKE TO KNOW WHY OBASANJO IS POPULARLY REFERRED TO AS OBJ ON HE PAGES OF NIGERIAN NEWSPAPERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

i believe it's for the same reason why Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida is referred to as IBB

OBJ is short for Obasanjo which is too long. it saves printing ink

The media at times may want to say something bad about him but may not want to refer to him using his official name to save themselves from court cases.
