Our President, Yaradua has being in office now for almost a year and we already have a nickname for him - Baba-go-slow. Everything appears to be hapening too slow in our country that even young people are worrying if vision 2020 will ever happen in their lifetime. Small ssues like basic constant electricity may never come in the lifetime of middleaged Nigerians as it appears. His predecessor, Olusegun Obasanjo has been labelled the worst democratic president in Nigerian History by prominent Nigerians over his involvement in the billions of dollars awarded to fictitious and dubious companies to revive the power sector which never came to be. The money is still nowhere to be found and baba-go-slow is still using his precious time in trying to probe those involved in this fraud during Obasanjo's tenure. There appears to be no tangible development being done in Yaradua's stay in office so far but rather the standard of living has dropped considering as a result of global food crisis spiralled by rising oil prices from which we were meant to benefit from. But in Nigeria, it appears that whatever goes up doesn't come down in terms of crude oil revenue.

the only thing i've seen him doing so consistently is reshuffling his cabinet. If you didn;t know hime better, you would say that his past time activity could involve palying cards, get it? I even wonder why Dora Akunyili, the former Nafdac lioness agreed to be an information minister in this his new cabinet, it would have been better if she was placed as Health minister, maybe she just wants to be minister in the first place
