At times when i think of what's going on in the Niger-Delta area of Nigeria, i tend to ask myself, what's going on? Perhaps the Biafran war occurred at a different time and situation as we currently have in the south-south. Then the Nigerian economy was not o dependent on oil but rather on other agricultural products. Now suppose the Federal govt goes all out in war against the Niger-Delta militants as it did against Biafra, oil may suffer and Nigerian economy may be entirely crippled. Or maybe it may be thanks to democracy, cos ifi it was a military regime, the head of state may have ordered total war against the militants since soldiers do not tolerate any form of treason. But i tend to believe that what's happening in the Niger-Delta may actually be politically motivated in terms of top govt officials supporting the activities of militants in the back and using them to unofficially sell Nigerian oil while at the front, claim to be opposing them.

E be like say the guys don chill dow. No matter how many people they kidnap now or how many installations and pipelines they blow, oil price doesn't see like it will rise again
