Blogging are the new champions of search engine results and it has become virtually impossible to get ranked high on search engines without having a blog associated with it.
What is a blog, you may ask? A blog comes from web log which is a result of impressions or write ups written on a web site during each visit to the site. A blog is a conscious write up or text added to a website during each visit to it such that the website is constantly changing due to the subsequent additions of text and pictures to it. Search engines like Google likes sites like these since they have a very large deposit of page content and information which can be useful to users and also relevant to keywords that have been searched for.
Blogging is this continous process of updating a blog and most web hosting companies now have this as an addon when you sign up for hosting.
Blogging helps drive traffic to your site from searches since most search engines have most of the traffic on the internet and this can be regarded as a very vital asset and the bigger your blog gets, the more attention engines like Google give it and you can convert your presence hence in form of cash by signing up for the Google money maker called Adsense. In reverse to Adwords, Adsense makes more sense for web publishers by literally adding money into your pocket. So Adsense makes sense!
To sign up for Adsense, you need to have a website that has content and the signing up is not automatic as Google has to verify the authenticity and desirability of your site before granting you the account. And you could be receiving your money in Nigeria once oyu indicate your details to Google on signing up and you need a domiciliary account to receive this. Your earnings will be sent in the form of an international cheque which you can cash into the domiciliary account.
To make money from Adsense, you need to be blogging and in this way drive traffic to your site and paste the google ads to your site which make you money on a pay per click basis i.e. when visitors to your site click on those ads, you make money which an be as low as $0.01 to $1.00 in rare cases. Imagine if you had like one million paes of good content, then you must expect that your earnings would definitely increase and you may not need to work in a bank or oil company.
The Nigerian market and practically the African market is still small in competition as regards Adsense and only countries like South Africa and Nigeria are the ones who have most of the traffic in Africa and are making money with this. The harvest is full but the labourers are many and you need to take opportunity of this now.
So basically, these are the things you need to do:
1. Get a blogging website and blog everyday or periodically.
2. Sign up for Google Adsense
3. Get a domiciliary account
4. Increase your earning by blogging more.
