I know dial up services are generally slow but my experience with Starcomms' is too bad. They are too slow and at times there is no internet service available even after paying for such a service in advance. I, at times wait for hours before i am able to open a website on starcomms. I think i'm not the only one and i want them to be at least as efficient and reliable as Multilinks

I agree with you too. One thing i don't like is the fact that the internet service just hangs at times without responding. If it was just slow, i wouldn't mind waiting for it to load the page, but after waiting for like 30 mins and the page still does not load, it's a fraud. I don't even think about going to Yahoo because my starcomms cannot open the heavy site. I can only open the mobile version of yahoo on my starcomms internet.

I think starcomms problem is a management problem. Their services are just inconsistent. I've even tried izap which is faster and more portable but not completely reliable. Can't someone get an interne service that is uninterrupted and fast too. I believe middleclass nigerians will be willing and able to afford it if only it can be relied upon. It's not a good thing to for instance engage in an ecommere activity, entering your personal and credit card details only to be interrupted by a dial up service timing out. Has anyone of you tried Reltel's internet service. I heard that it is reliable and i'm thinking about it. Multilinks is whats i use and at times it just logs me out. Give them a break. Which other internet service is more tailored to one's needs and pocket like starcomms'. Even if you use mtn or glo, at times it's stil slow. Just try and regsiter with your mtn sim for a day browsing. It costs N500 and you will see that at times it also slows down. There's a peak period and there's a slow one
