INVITATION FOR STAKEHOLDERS MEETING
Dated It is our pleasure to invite you to a forum for Small and Medium Scale enterprises organized by Skills & Ideas Development Initiatives (SKIDI), a non governmental organization.
SKIDI have advocated for fund and adequate access to capital for intending and potential Small & Medium Scale Enterprise owners in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
SKIDI mission is to strengthen prospective and potential SME operators and their stakeholder to have sufficient access to capital to start, operate, and manage a viable business.
Participants will witness mobilization of the NGO members and the general public in rural & suburban African. They will be empowered to start, and manage a successful business and various opportunities to have access to business equipments needed to run the business shall be uncovered.
Our market research has shown that the challenges facing the establishment of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and the improvement of the existing ones include, lack of access to capital, inadequate business skills and fast changing technology.
Our mission is to address these challenges.
WHY THIS MEETING?
Small and Medium Scale Enterprises are the backbone of communities and after generations of families. But mostly SMEs that are starting up often face challenge that are not compared to that of larged bussiness
Make a difference in Africa and the World by getting involved.
THE ONLY HOPE!
But there is hope and we are the generation that can end this imbalance.
Men, Woman, Youth can be assisted on business start ups and existing SMES can be nurtured to ensure economic growth
By getting involved you become part of our effort to fight poverty and enhance Small and Medium Enterprise development in Nigeria and the African sub region
WHAT WE STAND TO BENEFIT FROM THE MEETING
1. The meeting can launch a platform to reach out to majority of people
2. It can facilitate influence on business and government to promote the growth of SME
3. The meeting will act as a consensus platform for current and emerging issues in rural entrepreneurship and SME development
4. It will act as a brokerage forum to bring together companies and researchers in the development of SME in Africa
5. It will initiate business opportunities in the area of SME development in Africa
6. The ultimate aim is to make benefits in such a way as to make a real and lasting contribution to the communities.
