I don't like carrying my beard for more than 2 days but at times i let it go for up to a week because daily shaving causes me to have more skin irritations like bumps, even though i use aftershave or even methylated spirit on it. I still have bumps when i use clipper. Now i've started using shaving powder but it appears that my skin is getting dark on that side and i don't want this. How do i shave without having irritations like skin burns or bumps?

For me i use electric clipper. Just make sure that the clipper is sharp enough and runs fast. Also don't shave too close to your skin and you would have less reactions. Also shave in the direction of your hair. Shaving powder is not good for the skin.
