Many Lagosians have been crying daily ever since the AC governor, Babatunde Fashola started working seriously in his tenure. There has been a lot of developmental and restructuing efforts by the Fashola administration ranging from organising markets and pulling down private buildings in oder to make Lagos truly the center of excellence. Should we talk of the great Tejuosho Market at Yaba that has since gone in flames and closed down, or the Computer village that was cloesd down by Fashola for tax evasion and now recently the popular Ladipo market that has since been closed down for numerous number of times and also lately? A lot of people have since regretted having voted the governor to power because they see him and his cabinet as only creating harsh policies which have only reduced people's income. The numerous blocked roads and the unending go-slows in traffic by constructions which take more than a year to complete. The Fashola administration has so far cxreated two sides of Lagosians, one that supposrt his policies but are still affected by the slow moving pace of lagos economy and on hte other hand those who despise his actions as well as those of KAI which has been a serious thorn for market and street traders. Even Landlords are not let out as some houses have been demolished and marked for demolition, one wonders what good all these actions will bring in the end, others too pray that Fashola's rule would soon come to an end. One thing i know for certain is that in the end, people would not gladly accept him as their governor and his popularity would have been diminished, unless maybe he runs for second term and does not continue with this seeming madness.

He's doing a nice job and only the future would justify his efforts when Lagos becomes a mega city
