A Reverend Father was kidnapped this week in Rivers state by some gunmen. Rev. Fr. Pius Kii was the priest that was kidnapped and he is a former Chairman, Rivers state Universal Basic Education (UBE). The Catholic church through its bishop has said it will not pay the ransom. I really support this idea, since this would also encourage kidnapping if the ransom were to be paid.

They made the right decision. If those militants do not fear God, they could go ahead and do their worst and see if God would not cut them and their descendants off from the face of the earth.

Are they so desperate for money or what. They even go as far as kidnapping men of God. What then is their message.
