419 is another name for advance fee fraud in Nigeria. A lot of people especially students and jobless youths are seeing this sort of activity as special and engage in it. Now it is mainly through cyberspace in a fraud that can coolectively be recalled to as cybercrime. 419 is a growing problem in Nigeria and it is spreading to other parts of West Africa and Europe and it is common among Nigerian who send tonnes of emails to many email accounts in order to dupe people, particularly in developed countries of their funds.
