The weather is getting really hot in Nigeria and in most parts of the north, it has already gotten hotter. There is a widespread of Celebra Meningitis now and Lassa fever in those areas now. Lagos is no different as the heavy sunlight starts as early in the morning, say 8a.m, when the Sun has not yet set. Water and drinkable water is like gold now and people have become used to taking more if it in this season. Nigeria has two seasons - Rainy and Dry seasons. But this dry season has become hotter than previous ones and it may be because of the effects of global warming. I wonder if in the future, people would be able to even go out to work. I hope it doesn't get hotter and it is int times like this that we value rainfall which cools the weather.
