Are Marian apparitions True?

I've been hearing about apparitions of Mary occuring at several places in the world. At Fatima, Lourdes, Montichiary, Nigeria, people have talked about this happening. When i say apparition, i mean the appearing of someone from heaven to people on earth. I am a Catholic and i've read about this incidences occurring but now coming to think of it, I don't know if it is actually true, if the mother of Jesus actually appeared in a glorified body to people in the 19th century?

It is true. There have been apparitions in several places across the world with significant miracles recorded. There is also the talk of one happening in eastern Nigeria. The ones i know of are at Fatima in 1917
